A route of contrasting geographies
GR® 6 links Saint-Paul-sur-Ubaye to Arcachon and crosses the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Provence, the Cévennes, the causses and Aquitaine. The Luberon, the Alpilles, the Cévennes, the Causses du Quercy and the Landes de Gascogne are among the natural areas cited by the FFRandonnée.
Very different sections
A single crossing passes from alpine terrain to Mediterranean landscapes, then to plateaus and the Atlantique. Access, roadworks and regulation information should be checked with the local committees and managers of the chosen section.
