From the city to the pilgrimage

GR® 22 starts in Paris and gradually reaches the landscapes of the Bassin parisien and Normandie. The FFRandonnée highlights this transition, from the Seine and the streets of the capital to a rural journey of valleys and hedgerow country.

An approach story

Arriving towards Mont-Saint-Michel gives the journey a clear direction, but the areas crossed before the bay each have their own character. Forests, valleys and bocage punctuate a gradual approach to the monument.
